I Still Remember You Mijo (Installation)

30' x 12' x 5'

2018

Consisting of large, red vinyl "logo" (mimicking eulogizing car decals), along with roughly 600 air-filled white balloons that slowly deflate. The work evokes the distress of the malevolence toward immigrant communities leveled by the current federal administration, such as the separation of families at the border. The work is both a window display and also can be entered and engaged by the viewer. This work was created for the Forward Union Fair 2018 at Red Bull Arts New York
